Please join us from April 19 through April 26 for a fantastic opportunity to help the environment and plant trees for our retired elephants and children to enjoy. This past fall Direct Aid Nepal assumed stewardship of the Sapana Village Lodge elephants retiring them from the safari tourist industry. Now, our plan is to plant 600 trees of a variety species such as Banana, Bamboo, masala and others each year.
Your package includes 7 days lodging and the work week will be only five days leaving two free days and other spare time to enjoy all of the amenities of the lodge. We will make you a wonderful breakfast to start your day and pack you a lunch for your mid day break. The environment could not be nicer as your workspace is also where our elephants graze and swim each day. Do not forget your camera!
